MIA

MIA

xoxoLately I’ve been MIA…and I’m sorry about that but I just haven’t found much time to post something interesting enough! Soon though (this summer…) I’ll hopefully be posting a lot more. Plus, I will be going in a new direction. Be prepared for some changes!

Inspired: FEAR

Inspired: FEAR

Oh the things people never do because they’re too afraid to do it. If I had no fear, my life would probably ten times more interesting (not that it already isn’t) Here’s just a quick list of some of the things that I would do, without fear of course.

1. Dye my hair red for Valentines day. The color of red velvet cupcakes is just so romantic, having it on my head for February 14th would be glorious.

2. Indulge in beautiful desserts every once in a while. Speaking of red velvet (and just finishing an episode of Cupcake Wars) seeing desserts that should go on canvas make my imagination run wild. Even though they could be extremely rich with an insane amount of calories, the little beauties that make me smile would be worth it.

3. Be the first on the dance floor. Come on. Someone’s got to do it, and we all know that that one person is probably one of the most revered.

4. Take pictures with strangers. Sometimes on the street you see someone and you’re like “Wow, I love their hair” or “They have a gorgeous smile” or for whatever reason pleases you and you feel like taking their picture. That happens to me all the time. If I had the courage to ask them for a quick photo shoot, I’d have albums full of people I don’t even know.

5. Paint my nails to match my outfits. If I had the time, or didn’t have the fear that people would think I’m obsessed, I would paint my nails every weekend a different style and color to go with what I was wearing.

The Joy Of…a cup of coffee

The Joy Of…a cup of coffee

Every Wednesday morning, I get together with a group of girls before school at the local coffee shop. We all had our usual and the baristas knew us pretty well. This morning one of my friends wasn’t going to be able to make it. I knew that she was bummed and wished that she could have been there. I had an idea. Why couldn’t I just buy her her favorite? A one shot white chocolate mocha with whip. A simple, easy, cup of coffee. I didn’t think much of it until later that day at school I overheard her talking about how that cup of coffee made her day so much better. A cup of coffee…a simple thing to some, but such a simple thing of joy.
